The Drug war for control of Monterrey, Mexico has exploded with outright gun battles in the streets and attacks between rival drug cartels, "Los Zetas" and "Gulf Cartel". Just a few days ago a member of the cartels was found hanging from the Monterrey Bridge.
TODAY, A GRENADE was thrown into a crowded Casino in the center of Monterrey District, killing more than 20 people and injuring numerous others. All part of the war for control over the Drug business in the city. Dozens who were trapped by smoke and fire had to be freed by firefighters. It was an outright attack on the casino, The attackers raided the casino setting fires, then a grenade exploded....
Mexico's Drug Wars extends beyond the Mexican borders. It's entered into America's South West states and is spreading across America. This spreading drug octopus extends into the South East, North East and even Canada. It's not just a local crime story, but rather a painted canvas of death across three countries. Be-headings, hangings, murder of law enforcement officers, farmers, drug money laundering, smuggling, human trafficking and even child exploitation.
Monterrey, Mexico Fireman Fight Casino Attack 20+ dead 100's rescued |
What will it take for these countries, Mexico, the United States and Canada to collectively go to WAR with these Drug Cartels. Street Gangs in America are instruments of these cartels, prostitution rings and even international banks are used as vehicles to spread the cartels. This is not street crimes of the 1970's, 80's or 90's. It is 2011, and our media is busy with political rhetoric, rather than the concentration on one of the most serious threats since Al Queda. It's time to act !
AMERICA NEEDS TO GO TO WAR AGAINST THE CARTELS...not a LAW ENFORCEMENT EFFORT, but rather a MILITARY OFFENSIVE
Without direct INTERVENTION...the CARTELS will spread across this continent, unimpeded, and spreading their violence, drugs and money to control American and Canadian communities, as they now do in Mexico.
WHAT DO YOU THINK???
