DAD DEFENDS DISABLED DAUGHTER

James Willie Jones, a caring concerned father of a child with cerebal palsey defends his daughter against bullies on a school bus and becomes the criminal defendant in a case that wreaks of a system that has lost its site of what justice is about.

Defending ones own daughter from bullies has now become a crime against the parent. Mr. Jones should be considered for the "Father of the Year" award, instead he is pleading guilty to misdemeanor charges, and must perform community service as his punishment.

His "You Tube" moment was not his great day in the sunlight of today's instant media blast. He admits that, but give us all a break, especially Mr. Jones for being a concerned parent. The school board of Lake St. Mary, Florida looked the other way, after Mr. Jones complaints, the bus driver wasn't concerned, but the bullying went.

The indifference to his disabled child by school membersand educators, and the bus driver, should all be charged with child abuse, neglect and crimes against the disabled.

Kids will be kids, bullying at another child's expense becomes a game and fun to those that know little about the hurt and suffering the victim endures. Instead the justice system spits out is usual montra, blames the father for protecting his child and charges Mr. Jones as if he were a common criminal. So. maybe Mr. Jones could have handled it in another fashion, maybe he went a little overboard, but please, he didn't assault any child, didn't carry a weapon, just tried to protect his child.

If that's a crime in America, then we are all in trouble..soon they'll be marching into your home to see if you are serving some fast food with a coloring book, or even raising your voice by a higher octive than that which the "correct police" deem a violation.
