IS IT A CRIME FOR TSA (AIRPORT SECURITY) TO BODY FRISK PASSENGERS?

One has to wonder about all the hoopla of the necessary search for waepons prior to boarding an airline. Then one has to wonder why American TSA Agents are so behind the times on methods used to screen. ElAl Airlines for years has been pre-screening passengers through a series of information gathering, analysis of the passenger, where they are from, going and length of stay. It is obvious, that a passenger with a one-way cash ticket should be deeply evaluated, scrutinized and even may require further questioning.

Now comes what American's asked for, BETTER SECURITY before BOARDING A PLANE. with this, comes giving up some liberties.

The TSA has decided to physically search children, including there private areas, men and women as well. Some talking heads on one of the news channels spoke of putting a child age limit to physical search, must be more than 12 years old. You tell me what young girl will not be tramutized at 12 years old when a TSA agent, female or male touches her private areas, runs there hands across the childs breast...What are they thinking.

TSA needs a more professional staff, not the original turnover crowd that were security guards of private companies doing the exact same work.

I've seen the recruitment of staff, and while they conducted a background of the individuals they hired, many of the originals slipped through in a hurry to hire and put TSA in place.

It's time to take a lead from the Isreal ElAl airline security program and begin a pre-screening process and analysis three hours before flight time. Last minute passengers will miss the flight, corporate travelers should be given clearence passes, with 6 month evaluations.

Information should create a central database with certain observations and questions analyzing and then offering either further scrutiny of the passenger in question, or a pre-board pass is issued. Examination of the carry-on bags should be stoppped in exchange for no-carry-ons, only one see-thru plastic purse to carry immediate needed belongings. The Security Walk-thru should continue, with TSA agents monitoring passengers as they pass the magnatomitor.

Passengers not cooperating should not be allowed on the flight...and can make other arrangements to travel. Religious garb, must reveal and confirm facial identity, while other materials carried by passengers must be screened and pre-loaded on the plane after clearence at a secured off-site drop-off point.
