United States Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms agents in a "LEGAL" gun sting operation in Mexico.
HUH!!! I don't understand!!!
It's been a common practice for the Drug Enforcement Agency to sell drugs to trace distribution, especially "street drugs". But ATF selling more than 1000 "AR-15's and AK-47's to Drug Cartels so they could track the weapons going south into Mexico, discovered to have been used in several cartel murders including U.S. Border Agent Brian Terry while unarmed in Mexico.
Who's brilliant idea is this? Identify them, fire them and where possible prosecute them. The ATF agents didn't do this alone. Their supervisors, ATF Washington and even possibly Department of Justice or Homeland Security had participation. Terminate them all. The ATF has lost track of the whereabouts of these guns.
We've now entered into a new dimension of law enforcement, "PROJECT GUN RUNNER" or "THE FAST & FURIOUS" operation.. The weapons are sold to Cartel "straw men", these are people who purchase for another, which has been going on for some time. With the AFT authority, Licensed gun store owners have been selling these weapons after ATF approval. The store owner would notify the ATF, provide the purchases information then authorize the sale.
While they may not have committed intentional crimes, they are committing crimes with the cover of a badge that says U.S. ATF Agent. This is irresponsible thinking, planning and malfeasance at least by carrying out their responsibilities. ATF's responsibility is to protect Americans from illegal gun sales, operations and smuggling. Instead they provided the "fruits of the crime" when cartel members in Mexico kill Mexican citizens, Americans and law enforcement agents.
The amount of gun sales suggest not only an operation gone awry, but a plan that did not consider the consequences.
Several questions come to light!
- Where did the money go?
- Who collected the sales and taxes?
- Did the AFT review the cash sales?
- Were Credit Cards Used in the purchase?
- What happened to the straw buyers?
Americans know that crime on the streets are prevalent, but to have the Justice Department involved in contributing to "MURDER" is just hard to comprehend. Americans need answers. Not the Political paint brush. Was Homeland Security involved? If so, Terminate the top management all the way to the White House.
The purchases took place in Arizona, then transported across the border into Mexico. Therefore, not just ATF was involved. This suggests that the Border Patrol, U.S. Customs and Mexican Government were involved.
