Responding to a Robbery In Progress..PO Figoski and his partner confront ARMED FELON Lamont Pride of North Carolina. Pride wanted and had been released in November in NYC from a Drug Charge shoots and kills Police Officer Figoski, a 22 year veteran of NYPD, father of four.

P.O. Figoski  assigned to Brooklyn's 75th Precinct was loved by the community he worked in and in his home town, Babylon, NY some 50 miles east on Long Island.

Lamont was chased in a foot race by Figoski's partner P.O. Estrada, and was apprehended after a fierce struggle.

December 19, 2011 the Streets of Babylon, NY will be lined with thousands of Uniformed Police Officers from across America. The Funeral will take place and the precession will bury the police officer with all the honors of a fallen officer. The bagpipes will play, the streets of Babylon will be lined with thousands and civilians will stand-by knowing that a Police Officer gave his life for another.

Meanwhile, Lamont will be arraigned, his partner in crime will be hunted by law enforcement and the gun-store in Virginia will continue to sell guns to straw buyers and other criminals, as it has in the past.
