Now that its been revealed that former Governor Haley Barbour had PARDONED more than two hundred (200) prisoners at the end of his term as Governor, it's been determined that five of them were convicted of MURDER. Not together, but rather individual events. One a School Teacher murdered his principal. Another during an armed robbery, one his wife and on and on and on.

Barbour now explains his reasoning for the pardons. He explains that these people were rehabilitated. Some of the killers worked in his home as "Trusted Inmates". He goes on to explain that he trusted these killers with taking care of his own grandchildren at the Governor's Manson. What was he thinking?
He further explains that many of those pardoned had been pardoned after they were approved as trusted inmates. One has to recognize that some inmates deserve a second chance at society. Monitored release and then moved into society after training and integration.

However, KILLERS, are another breed. They can be remorseful, but Murder is Murder.Take a life, you give your life. These crimes were not pardonable offenses. The convicted of pulling the trigger, stabbing, strangling the victims, not as third party participants.
Current information from Mississippi Attorney General indicates that the State of Mississippi is trying to locate all, especially the murders and reverse the pardons by court order. They indicate that they may be required to track down the murders. Hopefully they will not strike again.
