HOW MUCH ARE WE SPENDING ON TSA TO SCREEN, PHOTOGRAPH "TO THE BONE" HOLLYWOOD ACTRESS'S, OLD LADIES OR EVEN "TOUCH MY JUNK" MALE FONDLE SEARCHES???
The answer is TOO MUCH! American politicians played right into the hands of Bin Laden and friends by overreaction, taking away corporate responsibility for airport safety, now only to find that many are talking about replacing this giant Federal Enforcement Agency back to private corporate responsibilities. However, it now takes billions for private industry to develop a pre-screening passenger environment. After-all, before TSA, each airline was responsible for entrance to their own flights at the airport. Airports, most private corporate, or public corporate entities were responsible for passenger safety and was supplemented by uniformed Police Officers from each community standing at the boarding gate entrances.
Today, while the TSA and Miami Airport and Boston Airport officials try to determine how a sole passenger with no ties to terror operatives could board a plane with bullet primers in his luggage. Another breakdown in passenger screening. Not to blame anyone, however, "it happens". However, just a few days ago in Los Angeles, /TSA misplaced a senior citizen that they wanted to search further, so the reaction was to close down the airport until we find this senior citizen to search her privates.
This is certainly the "TAIL WAGGING THE DOG", since many of the TSA lack common sense, including some of it's leaders, while others are trying to be professional, yet lack the support of leaders.
What now occurs is a pilot using a hidden camera reveals the weakness of the TSA screening procedures and policies. For his courage, some in TSA want to prosecute him, others want him suspended and his pilots license suspended. Instead we should give him a MEDAL, one for courage, two; for providing the truth about the TSA failures,. It takes this type of behavior to create change and improve on the substandard security policies that are presented by the TSA.
Orlando Airport has decided to opt out of TSA Security Screening for a private corporate entity. They can, and many others should. TSA needs a makeover, philosophical change and operational procedural change. First define the objectives of the TSA, then become an overseer of Security Operations at the airports, not the do'er. This will greatly improve safety and security to airlines, passengers and airports.
Airports are the gateways to the world. communities that house and tax airports need more input rather than surrender to Federal Government Authority.

QUOTE OF THE MONTH
"Think what you do when you run in debt, you give to another power over your liberty"
Benjamin Franklin

SAVE LIFE "DONATE AN ORGAN"
Just consider the many people in need of a donation from another to save thier life, son's, daughter's mom's or dad's.
Donating an organ can help another, and even contribute to bettering mankind. Many children are in need of an organ transplant, from kidney, the liver and even skin or visual tranplants may bring this child into a world that he or she will become another scientist, doctor and contributors to America and the World.
Consider you and family members to become Donors.
