SENATE HEARINGS ON ATF - SNUBBED

Untied States Senator Grassley is holding HEARINGS on the ATF GUN SMUGGLING to MEXICAN DRUG CARTELS, a sting operation, that went awry when they failed to follow the weapons. ( CBS NEWS initially broke the story)  wwwCRIMETALKAMERICA.blogspot.com posted the story. The question was not only ; "What were they thinking?" or just; "HUH!" It should also include; "Who Authorized This Operation?"

Now comes Senate questions and Hearings.  Yet, the ATF and it's management refuse to attend the hearings! Whose wagging the tail?  It seems that Congress, who appropriates the funds to run the ATF, who makes the laws of this sovereign nation, and have the absolute right to conduct information and investigative hearings have no authority or respect from this Federal Justice Department Law Enforcement Agency. ARE THEY ABOVE THE PEOPLE?  If they believe so, this could become a very dangerous precedent for the American people and our Constitution.What is the ATF leadership thinking?:

It seems that they are operating as an independent organization, possibly rogue. Imagine, selling guns, automatic weapons, to Drug Cartels, then having one of those guns KILL U.S. Agent Brian Terry in Mexico. What were they thinking? Now comes the U.S. Senate Hearings, and they (ATF) refuse to attend. What are they thinking?
